About FootReporter

FootReporter is an independent digital media entirely dedicated to football. Our mission is simple: give fans reliable live scores, up-to-date standings and quality editorial coverage, with a particular focus on African and French-speaking football.

Our mission

Football is universal, but the way it is covered rarely is. Too often, African and French-speaking competitions and talents are pushed into the background. FootReporter was born to fill that gap: cover world football as a whole, while shining a light on the teams, the players and the stories that matter to African and French-speaking audiences.

Who we are

We have loved football since childhood. Our weekends run to the rhythm of matches from every league, debates among friends, tactical analysis and post-match debriefs that stretch into the following week. FootReporter grew out of that habit — writing down what we were already telling each other.

Our editorial line

We believe in football told with passion and rigour. Our content aims to inform, analyse and celebrate the game, without sensationalism. We give a particular place to African national teams and to players from the diaspora, convinced that their story deserves coverage worthy of their talent.

How our content is produced

We clearly separate two kinds of content.

Sports data — scores, line-ups, statistics, standings, fixtures — comes from professional providers and is synchronised automatically, continuously.

Articles are editorial work. We choose the topics and the angles. We rely on artificial-intelligence tools to speed up the drafting of a first version, then we read, correct and adjust every text before publication. No article goes online without human validation, and every piece is signed. The tool speeds up production; the editorial judgement remains ours.

Our commitment to accuracy

A sports media is only as credible as its data. The scores, statistics and standings shown on FootReporter come from professional data providers and are synchronised in real time. On the editorial side, the rule is simple: publish only verifiable facts. A short, accurate text is worth more than a rich, wrong one. If you spot an error, write to us — we correct it and flag the change.

Independence and advertising

FootReporter is funded by the advertising displayed on its pages. Advertising spaces are clearly separated from editorial content: no advertiser has a say in the choice of our topics, angles or analysis.
