Daré Nibombé has officially submitted his application to the Senegalese Football Federation (FSF) to succeed Pape Thiaw on the Lions' bench. The Togolese coach is thus the first candidate to have formally filed his application in this race for succession.
A profile rooted in West African football
A former Togolese international defender, Nibombé took part in the 2006 World Cup with the Togo national team. He currently manages that same side and now wishes to take a new step in his career by taking charge of Senegal. His knowledge of West African football is one of the central arguments of his candidacy.
