Endrick could already be considering another departure from Real Madrid. The Brazilian forward reportedly told those close to him that he wanted to join Roma during the upcoming winter transfer window.
The young forward's situation has become particularly interesting to follow after his decision to stay at Madrid this summer. José Mourinho had chosen to keep his player at the time, despite interest from several clubs, even publicly stating that he had not wanted to loan him out or sell him during the last transfer window.
Roma in pole position
Roma would now be Endrick's preferred destination. The Italian club, which had already shown interest during the summer, could try to bring the Brazilian in on loan in January.
This lead is said to be reinforced by mutual interest between the player and the Roman club. Endrick reportedly even told those around him that the prospect of joining Roma, where his compatriot Wesley plays, particularly appealed to him.
Other clubs are also said to be monitoring his situation, including:
- Manchester United
- Aston Villa
- Olympique Lyonnais
These leads remain, however, less documented than the one leading to Roma, which was already linked with the player during the summer alongside Aston Villa. At this stage, Roma appears to be the most concrete option.
Nothing has been decided yet
Endrick's departure is not yet a done deal, however. Real Madrid and Mourinho will still have to decide whether they agree to let their young forward leave during the winter transfer window, after choosing to keep him this summer despite the numerous approaches.
