He believes in particular that the young Lille player has significant room for improvement and that this season could be the one where he truly takes off.

Having arrived at Lille as a free agent from PSG in the summer of 2024, Ethan Mbappé is now under contract until June 2027. At 19 years old, he is gradually seeking to establish himself as a player in his own right, beyond the name he carries.
His record with Lille remains modest so far, but his progress is real. Last season, he scored three goals and provided one assist in Ligue 1, after going through several spells on the sidelines due to injuries.
Acherchour insists precisely on his development. The pundit points out that Ethan has already made his mark in important matches, notably against PSG, and believes he now has a more assertive profile.
