The weekend of 11 to 13 September once again delivered several standout African performances across Europe, Saudi Arabia, and continental competitions.
Belloumi rocks Stamford Bridge
Mohamed Bachir Belloumi scored his first two Premier League goals as Hull City drew 2-2 at Chelsea. Trailing from the 7th minute, the promoted side turned the match around thanks to a brace from the Algerian in the 28th and 34th minutes. João Pedro equalised in the 66th. Hull remain unbeaten after four matchdays.
Semenyo and Ndiaye at the heart of the derby
Manchester City won 1-0 at Old Trafford. Antoine Semenyo started, while Iliman Ndiaye came on at half-time. Erling Haaland's goal in the 60th minute gave City the victory, with United reduced to ten men after Phil Foden's sending-off.
Gift Orban's hat-trick

In Brest, Achraf Hakimi had to leave his teammates before the end of the first half after complaining of discomfort in his right adductor. No definitive diagnosis had yet been given.
Hadj Moussa shines, Yalcouyé scores
Anis Hadj Moussa took part in Feyenoord's comfortable win at Zwolle. Brighton also won 5-0 at Coventry, with a goal from Ivorian Malick Yalcouyé.
