The club itself acknowledges having exceeded its own projections. The enthusiasm of the Forez supporters proved stronger than anticipated, even though the initial target already banked on a strong mobilisation. The final figures could climb even further before the official close of the campaign.
This level of popular support, extremely rare for a club competing in the second division, says something about the relationship between ASSE and its fanbase. Regardless of the level, Les Verts continue to attract. It is a solid foundation for the rest of the season, both on the sporting and financial fronts.
