The future of El Bilal Touré is being written away from Bergamo. The Malian international striker, under contract with Atalanta, is set to be loaned out once again in search of regular playing time — and it is towards Serie A that the most serious lead points.
OM left behind in the race
In recent days, Olympique de Marseille had positioned themselves as interested in the former Reims and Almería player. The Phocaean club appreciated his qualities: physical power, ability to run in behind, and a strong presence in the box.
But the situation quickly evolved. According to several corroborating sources, Parma have reached a verbal agreement with Atalanta for a loan deal including a purchase option estimated at 11 million euros. All that is missing is the player's final green light to seal the deal.
Atalanta's clear strategy
On Bergamo's side, the club's stance is unambiguous: El Bilal Touré does not feature in their sporting project this season. Atalanta therefore favours a new loan so that their striker can accumulate minutes on the pitch, after a spell at Beşiktaş disrupted by physical setbacks.
Despite this difficult journey, the Malian international remains in high demand on the market thanks to his athletic qualities and a potential that many still consider intact.
Parma favourites, Marseille turns to other targets
For OM, this lead is therefore fading away. The Marseille hierarchy continues its search to strengthen their attacking line. Barring a last-minute turnaround, El Bilal Touré is expected to continue his career in Serie A — but wearing Parma colours, not those of Marseille.
