Endrick is going nowhere. While several clubs had positioned themselves in recent weeks to secure a loan deal, Real Madrid has decided to keep their striker for the upcoming season.
A file that closed quickly
Roma and Aston Villa were among the suitors, while Manchester United was also mentioned in connection with the deal. But the tide quickly turned: José Mourinho is counting on the Brazilian, and the player himself has chosen to take on the Madrid challenge.
A demanding sporting context
The road ahead is nonetheless strewn with obstacles. Endrick must carve out a place for himself in a highly competitive attacking line, particularly in the shadow of Kylian Mbappé. Real Madrid nonetheless believes he can contribute his versatility, both as a centre-forward and on the right flank.
The question of a departure has not been entirely ruled out, however. A new loan could be considered in January if the player has not received sufficient playing time by then.
Madrid's message is clear
No departure this summer. At 20 years old, Endrick will now have to convince Mourinho that he fully deserves his place in the Casa Blanca squad.
