Mika Godts is moving ever closer to Paris Saint-Germain. According to several corroborating sources, the capital club and Ajax Amsterdam are now said to be nearing an agreement for the transfer of the Belgian winger, considered one of the most promising young talents of his generation.
Negotiations between the two clubs are said to have advanced considerably in recent hours, although a few details still need to be ironed out. The fee involved as well as the length of the player's future contract have not yet been officially confirmed.
A profile that has won universal approval
Aged 21, Godts has made a name for himself in Ajax colours thanks to his pace, his dribbling quality and his ability to make the difference in one-on-one situations. Qualities that have attracted the attention of several major European clubs, but it is PSG who today appear to hold the upper hand in this matter.
Barring any last-minute twist, the Parisian club could quickly finalise the arrival of the Belgian under-21 international in order to strengthen their attacking options ahead of the start of the new season.
