Norway cruise, Erling Haaland's emotion

At the final whistle, Erling Haaland turned to the Gillette Stadium stands and his face relaxed. For his first World Cup, Norway cruised past Iraq 4-1.

Haaland opened in the 29th on a Moller Wolfe cross. Iraq equalised through Hussein in the 39th. Haaland struck again in the 43rd, pouncing on a keeper error. Ostigard headed in from an Odegaard corner in the 76th, then Hussein scored an own goal in the 90th+6.

His father Alfie, whose career was cut short by injury and who never played a World Cup, was in the stands to witness it all.
