The attacking transfer market is accelerating between Napoli, Milan and Roma, with less than a week to go before the Italian summer market closes. Several deals are progressing in parallel, but none seems able to be fully resolved without triggering new movements.
Napoli waiting on Noa Lang's departure
At Napoli, the arrival of Gabriel Jesus from Arsenal remains linked to the situation of Noa Lang. The Neapolitan club wants to first free up a spot in its attacking department. For its Dutch winger, Napoli is ruling out a simple loan and is instead favouring a permanent transfer or a loan with an obligation to buy.
Galatasaray has renewed contact and could speed up talks, but no agreement has been reached yet.
The Gabriel Jesus option
The Brazilian forward has not yet played a single minute this season with Arsenal, after a 2025-2026 campaign disrupted by competition for places and rotations. His arrival would allow Napoli to add an experienced profile to its attack, but the club is also exploring other solutions.
Marc Guiu, at Chelsea, is among the alternatives being considered. Napoli is also monitoring the situation of Amine Gouiri, currently at OM, although neither of these options is as advanced as the one leading to Gabriel Jesus.
Milan working on several fronts
At Milan, Rafael Leão has resumed training with the Rossoneri squad but remains available on the market, as the club continues to look for a solution regarding his departure. His potential transfer could in turn pave the way for new movements in the attacking department.
Milan is also working on defensive reinforcements with Gonçalo Inácio, of Sporting. The Portuguese defender knows coach Rúben Amorim well, having played under him in Lisbon. The Milan club has taken steps regarding this deal, although no agreement has been found yet.
The name of Alvyn Sanches, of Young Boys, has also appeared among the profiles being tracked by Milan. However, no official offer has been submitted at this stage.
Roma pushing for Fofana
Roma, for its part, is stepping up its efforts for Malick Fofana. The Italian club is pushing to convince Lyon to sell the Belgian winger, whose price exceeds 35 million euros. The player is said to have already given his agreement in principle to join the Italian capital, but negotiations between the clubs still need to be finalised.
The Moise Kean situation at Fiorentina
Alongside these deals, the situation of Moise Kean at Fiorentina has become tense. The forward arrived late for training and reportedly refused to train under Fabio Grosso's orders. The relationship between the player and the club has deteriorated significantly.
Como has relaunched its offensive and has now raised its offer to around 40 million euros. Fiorentina, however, remains cautious and is making any departure conditional on the prior arrival of a top-level replacement.
Pinamonti joins Lazio
Lazio and Sassuolo, meanwhile, have reached an agreement for the transfer of Andrea Pinamonti. The deal could reach 12 million euros, with around 3 million euros as a fixed fee and the rest in bonuses. The forward is set to sign until 2031.
Several deals therefore remain closely linked. At Napoli, Lang's potential departure could determine Gabriel Jesus's arrival. At Milan, Leão's future could influence the club's attacking choices, while Roma still needs to reach an agreement with Lyon for Fofana.
The Italian market is thus moving forward through a domino effect: departures determine arrivals, and each move can trigger another just days before the transfer window closes.
