Barcola to Liverpool: PSG holds firm above €150M demand

FootReporter · 9 août 2026

Liverpool have gone on the offensive for Bradley Barcola. The English club are preparing an offer estimated at €115 million in an attempt to prise the French winger away from Paris Saint-Germain.

But Paris have no intention of selling at that price. According to the latest reports from the French press, PSG consider the proposal insufficient and have set their demands at more than €150 million, excluding bonuses.

Mutual interest, but a significant financial gap

The situation has gained momentum in recent weeks: Liverpool have been tracking Barcola for some time and are looking to strengthen their attacking options. The player himself is said to be receptive to the Reds' interest, a factor that could shake up the negotiations.

On PSG's side, however, the stance remains firm. Barcola is not considered a player to be sold on the cheap, and the Parisian club, having already bolstered their attack this summer, can afford to wait.

Liverpool faced with a difficult choice

The Reds will therefore have to make a decision: significantly increase their offer or walk away from a pursuit that has become particularly costly. As things stand, €115 million is not enough to make PSG budge.
