PSG is not done with its transfer window business. Asked by Ligue 1+ ahead of the trip to Rennes, Luis Campos confirmed that the Paris club remained active until the market closes, both in terms of arrivals and departures.
'The transfer window is not over at all, it's still open. Between now and the end, on the arrivals side, if we find a good opportunity, we'll do it,' explained the Parisian sporting advisor.
Campos was also asked about the situations of Bradley Barcola and Ibrahim Mbaye, both absent from the Paris squad for the match against Rennes. His answer remained deliberately cautious: 'We'll see what happens.'
Liverpool still in the race
Both players are being courted by Liverpool, and discussions between the two clubs remain open. The Barcola case has been closely followed for several weeks, with an initial Parisian offer rejected and negotiations continuing over the transfer fee.
For Ibrahim Mbaye, Liverpool has also made progress in the discussions, notably with the player, but the gap between PSG's demands and the English proposal remains an obstacle.
At this stage, neither deal has been concluded. But the repeated absences of Barcola and Mbaye from Luis Enrique's squads show that their future in Paris remains uncertain.
And Campos leaves another door open: PSG could still recruit if an opportunity deemed interesting arises before the transfer window closes.
Paris' market therefore remains open in both directions. And Liverpool could still be at the heart of its final moves.
