Serie A kicked off on Saturday with two performances worth remembering: Napoli's win in Genoa and Inter's big victory over Monza.
🔵 De Bruyne unlocks Napoli
Napoli won 2-0 at Genoa thanks to two goals scored in the final minutes.
Kevin De Bruyne opened the scoring in the 82nd minute before Antonio Vergara doubled the lead in the 87th.
The Belgian, who arrived this summer, thus gave Napoli three points on his league debut under Massimiliano Allegri.
A first outing that was tricky for a long time, but ultimately a winning one for the defending champions.
⚫🔵 Inter start with a 4-1
The Italian champions, meanwhile, struck hard against Monza.
Inter won 4-1 after a very effective second half.
Hakan Çalhanoğlu opened the scoring, Gustavo Varela equalised before the break, then Piotr Zieliński, Pio Esposito and Yann Bisseck made the difference after half-time.
Also worth noting was the performance of Andy Diouf: the French midfielder provided two assists.
Inter therefore begin the defence of their title with a convincing win.
