Ruben Amorim's Milan snatched a spectacular point in Rome after being down 2-0. Dominated for long spells, the Rossoneri completely changed their game after the break, largely thanks to their substitutes. Diego Moreira, brought on at half-time, scored two goals in two minutes to save Milan.
Lazio seemed to have done the hard part
Gennaro Gattuso's men quickly took the lead. Matteo Cancellieri opened the scoring in the 10th minute, before Tijjani Noslin doubled the advantage in the 39th.
Milan looked out of ideas and went into the dressing room two goals down.
Moreira changes everything
Amorim made three changes right at the restart: Moreira, Pulisic and Musah came on.
The decision paid off immediately. In the 65th minute, Samuel Chukwueze pulled one back. Two minutes later, Diego Moreira popped up to equalise and bring Milan level at 2-2.
Lazio, who had seemed in control of the match, then completely lost their grip. Gattuso would later admit after the game that his side had dropped off too much in the second half.
Milan could even have snatched the win in stoppage time, but Mandas denied Hutchinson.
Lazio therefore let two points slip after leading 2-0, while Milan produced a comeback that could prove important later in their season.
